Track leads through all your nurture sequences, even months later
See how different traffic sources interact with your emails
Measure success in terms of lifetime value, not a single conversion
AgencyAnalytics is a client reporting platform. SegMetrics is a revenue attribution platform. They answer two different questions.
AgencyAnalytics answers “what happened in each channel this month,” and it does that across 85+ data sources with white-label dashboards your clients can log into. SegMetrics answers “which lead sources actually produced revenue,” including revenue that arrives ninety days after the click, from a nurture sequence, in a subscription that renews.
If your clients judge you on impressions, rankings, and cost per lead, AgencyAnalytics is probably enough. If they judge you on revenue, or if you are trying to prove your own value at renewal time, channel reporting will not get you there.
Connect your CRM, ad accounts, and payment processor, and see the real source of every dollar in under an hour. You’ll also get a free data check call + free training call + free VIP slack channel.
Just a few of the companies improving their marketing with SegMetrics
Why are so many sharp marketers tracking their leads and sales with SegMetrics as opposed to Agency Analytics?
Agency Analytics is a reporting tool designed specifically for marketing agencies — it helps teams monitor SEO, PPC, social media, and email campaign performance through automated, customizable reports. It’s excellent for saving time on monthly client reports and making your agency look polished.
SegMetrics goes further: it tracks what actually happens after someone clicks an ad or opens an email. Rather than reporting on impressions, clicks, and sessions, SegMetrics ties every lead and every dollar back to an actual person — so you can answer the question clients really care about:
“Which marketing is actually making us money?”
SEO and channel reporting breadth. Keyword rank tracking, backlink monitoring, and site audits sit inside the platform, which makes it a natural fit for agencies whose core deliverable is SEO performance. Worth knowing: rank tracking is a paid add-on on top of the base rate, priced per 500 keywords, as is their AI visibility tracker.
High-volume client reporting. Scheduled reports, report approvals, roll-up dashboards, and client portals across 85+ integrations, with unlimited reports and unlimited staff and client users included. If your job is shipping polished updates to a long roster every month, it is fast and frictionless but you can also do all this with SegMetrics + our MCP Server.
One flat rate per account, every feature. AgencyAnalytics now sells a single plan with everything unlocked, no tier gating, which removes a lot of purchasing friction. For agencies that do not yet need attribution depth, that simplicity is a genuine advantage but this can be incredibly expensive the more accounts you have.
If your agency’s value is in delivering polished, automated channel performance reports — especially for SEO clients — Agency Analytics is a solid, purpose-built tool.
True revenue attribution. SegMetrics connects every ad click, email open, and opt-in to actual purchases in your CRM and payment processor. Not platform-reported conversions, where Meta and Google both claim the same sale and your report adds up to 140 percent of revenue.
Long-cycle nurture tracking. A lead opts in from a Facebook ad in January, sits in a nurture sequence for four months, clicks a webinar email in May, and buys. AgencyAnalytics shows you a January lead and a May sale. SegMetrics shows you that the Facebook ad produced the revenue, and how long it took. For coaches, course creators, and any client with a considered purchase, that gap is the whole ballgame.
Subscription business metrics. MRR, churn rate, subscriber lifetime value, and trial-to-paid conversion, broken out by segment and by acquisition source. You find out which channel brings in subscribers who stay, not just which channel brings in the cheapest signups.
Tag-based cohort analytics. Filter by any tag in your CRM. Lead magnet downloaded, webinar attended, product purchased, sales call booked. See exactly how each cohort converts and what it is worth, then build the next campaign around the answer.
130+ integrations with CRM-level depth. Full contact and revenue sync with ActiveCampaign, Keap, HubSpot, Stripe, and the rest of the stack your clients actually run on. That depth is what makes lead-level attribution possible in the first place.
Server-side tracking. Available on the Scale plan. Capture interactions even when ad blockers, iOS privacy settings, and cookie restrictions have already broken your client’s pixel data.
Pricing that does not tax growth. More on this below, because the model difference matters more than the headline number.
MCP Server for full analytics reportings (more on that below…)
If your agency’s value is in proving real marketing ROI… connecting ad spend to actual revenue, tracking leads through months-long nurture sequences, and showing clients exactly where their best customers come from… SegMetrics is the more powerful and accurate choice
Both platforms ship an MCP server, so both can connect to Claude or ChatGPT. The difference is what the AI can see once it gets there.
Point an AI assistant at AgencyAnalytics and it can summarize what happened in each channel. Point it at SegMetrics and it can tell you what made money, because it is reasoning over lead-level attribution instead of platform-reported conversions.
Connect each client’s SegMetrics account once. Then run the same prompt across the entire roster:
That inverts the reporting cycle. Instead of building a report and then working out what it means, you get the read and the recommended actions written for you, in your own words, ready to drop into a client email. Standups, weekly updates, and QBR prep all pull from the same attribution data, so the story in the email matches the numbers in the dashboard.

AgencyAnalytics charges $20 per client per month billed annually, with Enterprise pricing for agencies past 25 clients. Every feature is included, which is clean. But the model means your software bill is a straight line off your client count. Ten clients is $200 a month. Twenty-five is $500. Signing a new logo raises your costs on the same day it raises your revenue, and the add-ons for rank tracking and AI visibility sit on top.
SegMetrics prices on active subscribers tracked, not on how many client accounts you run. Adding a client does not automatically add a line item. For agencies with a growing roster of smaller accounts, the difference compounds.
Plenty of agencies run both. AgencyAnalytics handles the client-facing report, the portal, and the SEO deliverables. SegMetrics handles the attribution underneath it, so when a client asks which channel is actually making them money, you have a real answer instead of a stack of platform-reported conversions.
If you are only going to run one, the question is simple. Are you being paid to report on activity, or to produce revenue?
Only pay for the people you’re actively engaging with.
Active subscribers are those who are marked as active in your ESP, visited your site, or who have active purchases, subscriptions or deals.

Is SegMetrics an alternative to AgencyAnalytics?
Yes, if what you actually need is attribution rather than reporting. AgencyAnalytics shows you what happened in each ad channel; SegMetrics shows you which leads and campaigns turned into revenue, at the individual contact level. Many agencies run both — AgencyAnalytics for the client-facing report, SegMetrics for the attribution data that goes in it.
What does SegMetrics do that AgencyAnalytics doesn’t?
SegMetrics tracks each lead from first touch through to purchase and ties revenue back to the specific ad, keyword or email that produced it. AgencyAnalytics aggregates platform metrics but cannot follow an individual lead into your CRM and back out as revenue.
Does AgencyAnalytics show revenue attribution?
It reports the conversion and revenue figures each connected platform sends it. It does not track individual leads across sources over time, so it cannot resolve the double-counting that happens when Meta, Google, and your email tool all claim the same sale.
Can I use SegMetrics and AgencyAnalytics together?
Yes. Many agencies pull attribution insight from SegMetrics and present it inside their existing AgencyAnalytics reporting workflow.
Can I switch from AgencyAnalytics to SegMetrics?
Yes. SegMetrics connects directly to your ad platforms, CRM and payment processor, so historical data is imported on setup rather than rebuilt by hand
Which is cheaper for an agency?
Depends on your shape. AgencyAnalytics scales with client count. SegMetrics scales with subscribers tracked. An agency with many small accounts usually pays less with SegMetrics. An agency with a handful of very large accounts may find the opposite. Check our pricing page and use the slider to find exactly what you’ll pay.
Does either one track leads through email nurture sequences?
SegMetrics does, including revenue that lands months after the first click. AgencyAnalytics does not.
Do both work with Claude and ChatGPT?
Both offer MCP access. SegMetrics exposes attribution and revenue data to the assistant, so you can ask revenue questions in plain language. AgencyAnalytics exposes reporting data.
Know the value of your leads based on who they are and what they do.
No metric is more powerful than Lead Value for measuring the success of your marketing automation, traffic sources, webinars and more.
Create reports and segments based on tags, campaign, lead source, and much more. It’s never been easier to see how many people take a certain action — like click an email link or opt in for a specific offer — and how those actions lead to revenue.
SegMetrics was built to power the biggest names in the industry. Get the metrics that actually matter to your business — instantly.
And since we work with your existing data, you can start getting real value in as little as 5 minutes.
We built SegMetrics to be reliable, simple to set up, and easy to read. Because no matter the size or type of your business, success shouldn’t depend on wrestling some sense out of confusing or conflicting data. Get back to making clear-headed, informed decisions. We’ll handle the numbers.
We added SegMetrics to see if it could find answers to questions a client’s had for over a year and that couldn’t be put off any longer. It could, and did so within about 30 seconds.

For all the power that comes with Infusionsoft, it can be a really complicated tool. Reports that should be available with a few clicks just aren’t there. With SegMetrics we can see exactly which leads are most profitable and where our biggest opportunities lie. SegMetrics is like your marketing crystal ball.
