Drop some truth bombs into Google and Facebook’s dashboards with our new Chrome extension

Facebook and Google have very slick interfaces. But, just in the same way you shouldn’t automatically trust someone in a suit, we shouldn’t blindly trust their data.

SegMetrics gives businesses the ability to get an unbiased, accurate view of marketing performance. Every dollar of revenue is tracked without any greedy attribution or double counting.

Get real metrics right in your ad platforms

Now you can drop these truth bombs directly into the Facebook and Google Ads dashboards with our new Chrome extension. (This is one of the many reasons clients pick SegMetrics as an alternative to Hyros.)

You will see the orders, revenue and CPA attributed to a campaign by SegMetrics right there alongside the platforms’ own numbers.

These numbers are measured with all of our advanced attribution. That includes:

  • No issues with iOS or ad blockers
  • Full lifetime value attribution
  • No double-counted sales
  • Reporting on processed payments
  • Measure sales, not just leads

It’s all the SegMetrics goodness, without any need to flick back and forth between tabs.

How to set up the extension

The extension will pull through all of your latest data automatically once it is set up. Here is how to get it running in your platforms:

Step 1: Set up SegMetrics

You will need a SegMetrics account that is up and running. If you don’t have one already go ahead and grab a 14-day trial.

Step 2: Download the Extension

Download the extension from the Chrome Web Store here. You then connect your account in the pop-up window. You can view the support documentation here.

Step 3: Add the ID Columns

For Google Ads, you’ll need to make sure that the Campaign, Ad Set, and Ad ids are available on each report, so that the extension can tell which row belongs to which ad.

We’ll add the SegMetrics data to the main Name field, so you’ll want to stretch that out so that it’s big enough to show all your columns.

Step 4: Customize Your Data

Finally, click the extension icon to customize your Attribution Model, and choose which columns you’d like to display in the ad manager.

Start seeing real data in your dashboards

If you have a SegMetrics account then go ahead and install the chrome extension.

Or if you’re not yet a user, go ahead and grab yourself a free trial.
